The Philadelphia Eagles released Benton graduate Martin Rucker Monday morning. Rucker, who got drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL draft out of Missouri, was released due to a lingering hamstring injury and the fact that the Eagles tight end depth had suffered after several tight ends had injuries.
